Thai Beef Salad
This looks and tastes amazing, great summer dish and so healthy and simple to make (YUM).
Ingredients
500g beef
cucumber
tomatoes
1 red onion
any mixed salad you like
1 cup Thai basil or regular basil leaves
1 cup fresh coriander
1 long red chilli
1 cup fresh mint
1/4 cup lime juice
1 ½ cup brown sugar
2 tbd brown sugar
2 tbs fish sauce
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, chopped
sesame oil
Cooking instruction
Grill beef for 10 mins (medium rare please - pink inside). Loosely cover with foil and set aside for 5 minutes.
Combine salad, cucumber, red onion, tomatoes, herbs and chilli to a bowl.
Place lime juice, sesame oil, brown sugar, fish & soy sauces, ginger in a screwtop jar and shae well.
Slice beef into thin strips, combine with salad and drizzle over dressing to serve.
