Calamari

This is a Friday evening favorite for the whole family. Great with home made chippies.

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh squid tubes (small ones)

  • Plain flour

  • Salt and pepper

  • lemon

  • oil for shallow frying

Cooking instruction

  1. Pat squid tubes dry with paper towel

  2. Slice squid tubes into rings.

  3. Add salt & pepper to rings.

  4. Lightly coat calamari rings in flour.

  5. Shallow fry for a couple of minutes & turn over.

  6. Dry on paper towel & squeeze some lemon.
